A battle called rugby

I have been going around Hagen and it’s little places. One of the things I did was to go to a rugby match in a place called Eka west. Before the match started we went to pick the players up and I got painted in their colors.

That the match got canceled, because the referee couldn’t make a decision about a point being scored by my team or not. While it was so obviously clear. My team scored rightfully. Stupid judge. Here you see my team being picked up by us.

And here was the other team. They of course wouldn’t have had a change if it weren’t for the stupid judge.

So in the end my friend Jeffry could not hand out the price he had bought for them.

One Saturday we went playing Frisbee in town. With we I mean, my friend Joanna and me. She’s a volunteer from Australia and she has a very cool Frisbee. Playing Frisbee in town is something cool to see. Lot’s of people coming by to try to throw the silly round disc those white people are throwing. On the background you can see Hagen town.

Let’s see, hat else did I do? Ah yeah, I went to a tea plantation in Aviamp. I took some artsy pictures. I’ll show you one. In the back left you can see the tea factory.

Ah yeah, these are some of my best wantoks. A family living very close to me down the road. The place is called Warakum. I go there and talk about my day; we play games and eat each other’s fruits. We talk politics and I learn a lot of tok pisin from them. They are one of the reasons why I have such a happy time in PNG.
