I love buying over the internet. It is so incredibly fast. You see the washing machine you want to buy, you click on it, you pay via your back account and voila six weeks later you have what you want.

Why the six week wait?
Is that how long it takes for a ship to travel from China?

I guess it was still being assembled. If it was I reckon they are pretty fast.
And by the way; my spamkiller says you’re almost not trustworthy and told me to have a look. You have negative karma…

Go to a shop, point at the machine you want, pay with your bank account, and voila, the same day you have a washing machine… :-0
That is so 1980′s!
or just take your sister’s washing machine since she doesnt use it but you were just too late…and that would have been free…
who is the loser now, hey!?
So 1980′s maybe, but a lot quicker. And moreover, why would the fact that it is soooooo 1980′s be a bad thing? I know a lot of very good things that come from the ’80′s!
little sister
I remember you asking me if I wanted a washing machine…six months or so ago. Back then I did not have a house. And now I have a new washing machine.
So I don’t see a loser. Not in this situation anyway.
Big sister
I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. I just said it was so 1980′s. I’m such a conformist…I like to follow modern times. Even if they suck. It’s got to do with my reputation you know.
What reputation is that again??;-p
A big hello to you ladies too!!!
That is a very interesting question. I found a definition: “Reputation is the opinion (more technically, a social evaluation) of the public toward a person, a group of people, or an organization. It is an important factor in many fields, such as education, business, online communities or social status.”
My evaluation is that people around me actually want me to be the president of the world. I know of course this is not possible, because I am too humble.
Sjoerd as president; hmmm. I will have to evaluate that. Hmmm. Conclusion: a rather frightening prospect. It will be a very honest one though, and one who will be good with his hands… What the heck, you’ll have my vote.
But I am too humble…
Aren’t I?
I call it planning ahead mr sjoerd…6 months ago you didnt have a house, but you were probably getting one in the near future and you were offered a free fridge AND washing machine, so if you planned ahead, you would have taken it…
so no, I dont want you as a president…
[little side note: I had a dream the other day that i was in NZ and that there was a national disaster so NL decided to get all the dutch people out. Balkenende himself (as if…) was walking around with his notepad and he didnt believe I was dutch, because I didnt have a dutch accent anymore…and of course, I did not have my passport with me…how is that for an identity crisis…)
So where would I have stashed a washing machine and fridge in the mean time?
You’re dream doesn’t make much sense (as if dreams do). Speaking English without an accent does not mean you do not speak Dutch anymore.
Last time I checked mum and dad had space…and even worse: my friend Annick was willing to store those items until someone would pick them up…
so I will repeat: I dont want you as my president!!
So we are using this topic as an evaluation for my capabilities as a president?
I bet you other presidents have not been elected because they took a washing machine from their sister.
thuh, it’s not about the washingmachine, it’s about planning ahead, using a budget, linking people and making sure things happen…
yes we can (but you cannot…)
Ah right, I cannot plan, use a budget or network.
I remember living and working in a developmental setting, but I could be mistaken. I’m working at the moment within the field of work reintegration with people who have chronical health problems.
Who am I kidding, that’s a walk in the park. You’re right.
Of course she is right, she is a woman. And your sister. Two big reasons why she always would be right. (mind you, if it comes to you, not if it comes to me. If it comes to me, I am always right. Of course).
Right
Sweetie – woman are always right. Its up the men to prove us wrong!Dare to try?:-)
Funny, every time you think your brother gets it, he is off the track again. Your sisters are always right, jeeeesz…
Ok, that’s enough, I’m taking charge. One woman I can handle…well sort of…uhm in a way…well, maybe…NOT…help!!!
