I stopped working in Germany last year August and said so in an email, a fax and a letter. Looks like I’m still able to go to a German dentist, physician, or God forbid a physiotherapist. I despise bureaucracy.

I know that card! Welcome to the German bureaucracy. Holland is holy compared to DE! Since I am married I still pay every month a lot of money into the state pension fund, but somehow they don’t know me and won’t give me information unless I come by at the office. I did that once and just found a small note on the door: closed today because tomorrow is a holiday
