Finally, a new motorbike. A black Honda CB 750. Friday it will be mine. I forgot to take pictures so I’ll post one from the web.

I thought you were saving up to come to NZ…
Priorities sis. But no worries I am saving up and I will come by. If I’m not able to come by it won’t be a financial problem. It could be that school messes things up.
OH NO!!!
EXACTLY. Priorities. You don’t have them in the right order!
I already told you that whether or not me going to NZ next year will not be depending upon financial means…so my priorities are straight.
Zijn we even op vakantie gaat monsieur naar Frankrijk en koopt een motor en wij weten van niks. Tis wat.
Who said I was talking about the financial priorities. I was talking about PRIORITIES. Who cares about education (gnagna)? Maori pedagogy talks about taking care of the learner on 4 different levels: spiritual, physical, psychological and family. And on top of that a learner is always part of a family, so family can decide for the learner as well. So, since you often say Im the leader of the pack (at least physical) I think I can say that you should come to NZ for the family.
Done. Easy as.
So. When are you coming?
@mamma
Sorry, maar zoals Maaike terecht zegt ben ik als man in onze familie nu eenmaal verplicht verantwoording af te leggen. Liever stiekem dus.
@Maaike
I can imagine Maori people would say this. So family can decide? Would family in the interest of one of it’s members, decide to not to decide? This to prevent overload if that member had so much stuff going on that it would be hard to, let’s say, visit another member in NZ.
It would of course be a wise decision to coerce said member to visit another member if afore mentioned member was just a lazy bum.
If the family decides, then this family decides that New Zealand is too far off and that you should come back. Problem solved.
Well. Im the leader of the pack remember???
And, Im actually looking into the future of the family. I think NZ has better (agricultural) land, nicer water, more nature and better living circumstances than NL. So I suggest the whole family should move out here.
And, dear brother, you are missing the point. I know you are busy with work, study and friends, but according to Maori principles, the only thing that really matters is family. Which can be frustrating at times when you want to get stuff done, but then again, also enlightning!
I dare you sis and bro: come over and you will see how lovely it is…
So. Again, when are you coming?
@Maaike
Sorry about me not getting it.
I’m actually afraid of visiting you. I think it’s going to be too awesome for me to leave…
