I think they got stolen at my work, but I don’t want to dwell on it. I would hate it if I found out that somebody I’ve been helping stole my stuff. Today I went to the police to get a letter saying I lost my papers. Then I had to go to city hall to tell them that I lost my papers, prove that I was me, pay 150 euro’s and wait for 5 workdays. I surely hope by next Thursday everything is in order, because Friday I have to go to France for a wedding.

I stopped working in Germany last year August and said so in an email, a fax and a letter. Looks like I’m still able to go to a German dentist, physician, or God forbid a physiotherapist. I despise bureaucracy.

I’ve got a problem when somebody tells me I have to do something. Unless of course it’s somebody from the female persuasion in my close group of friends and or family. With the proper voice, correct posture and logical … never mind. It just goes to show that I do not only have an authority problem I have a complex authority problem.
My first reaction to the must-word without listening to what is actually being said is; I do NOT have to do anything. Or as the literal translation of a friend of mine goes; I must nothing.

Sit down and gather around me and I’ll tell you a grueling story about…a pension plan mixed with a pinch of bureaucracy. Being in the Netherlands again as a physiotherapist I was informed in August 2008 by the SPF (Foundation Pension plan for Physiotherapists) that I had to join their superannuation fund. Bladibladibla… so now I’m very pissed because I’m right and they are wrong.

After a lovely diner we decided to go to a pub for a drink. One drink became two, became three, etc…
This morning we slept in, had some breakfast, slept some more, did some chatting and finally…had a nap. I can say I am thoroughly rested now.

In the evening I wanted to go to Merijn and help him out with his mother’s house. I went to my car and what do you know? Somebody smashed in a window and took out my tomtom. I know, I shouldn’t have left it in the car. To whoever did it, I hope you enjoy it.
Luckily somebody came over to put in a temporary window, because he did not have a new one for my Yaris.

This gave me a chance to meet a friend Froukje who I otherwise wouldn’t have met.
