Every year we have the “vierdaagse“. A four day march in and around Nijmegen. Each evening there are bands in town. Some are crap, some are good and some are really good.
Blood red shoes are really good. The band is formed by two young people. He plays the drums and sings and she plays the guitar. They both sings. Awesome. The two of them rocked.
Never knew you-tube would have PNG video music. Some pidgin to sweeten up my day.
Gijs
plays in a samba band called Outra vez.
The band played today at a festival in Amersfoort called Dias latino. I’ve heard them play before, but usually only for a short while because I always seem to come when they finish up. So this was an excellent chance to get to know the band better.
So I went with Gijs his girlfriend Antoinette
to Amerfoort to check out the band. It was exhilarating. I love percussion (I have played djembee for a while) and these guys rock. Click the thumbnail for a short clip.
I enjoyed the day for its relaxedness. Just watching a band
and its public.
Faun has been around for a while already, but I never had the chance to meet them. I saw them yesterday and they were good!!!
I went to see Rag and Bone.
